Renfrew let a two-goal lead slip as their relegation worries deepened with a draw against Cambuslang Rangers on Saturday.
Dom Lavelle got the visitors off to a flyer at Somervell Park as he netted the opener after only 20 seconds and Jojo Gillespie doubled the lead 10 minutes later to put Jimmy Quigley’s team firmly in control.
However, the home side fought back and goals from Armand Dollani and Jack McKenna earned them a share of the spoils.
The result leaves Renfrew seven points clear of the First Division relegation zone, although they have played up to six games more than some of the chasing pack.
Renfrew host Maybole this Saturday in a massive clash at the foot of the table, with the New Western Park team currently four points clear of their Ayrshire opponents, having played four games more.
Kick-off is at 2pm.
