Renfrew are now four games without a victory after suffering a 1-0 loss at Blantyre Victoria on Saturday.
Nad Zeb scored the only goal of the afternoon at the KG Stadium after 21 minutes, with the visitors left chasing the game in the second half.
They had the perfect opportunity to level matters just four minutes after the break when they were awarded a penalty and the hosts were reduced to 10 men, with Scott Gibson given his marching orders.
Clydebank loanee Ben McLernan stepped up for Renfrew but had his effort well saved by Lukasz Osinski.
After 67 minutes, the visitors were also reduced to 10 men, as Andrew Wright was dismissed, and there was to be no further scoring.
The result leaves Renfrew in 11th place in the First Division table.
A big clash at Kilbirnie Ladeside is next up for the New Western Park team.
The Blasties currently occupy one of the relegation spots but know that three points this Saturday will see them leapfrog Renfrew.
Kick-off at Valefield Park is at 2pm.
