Renfrew are just one win away from being crowned West of Scotland Football League Second Division champions after a midweek victory over Glasgow United.
Ciaran Diver opened the scoring at Greenfield Park with his 29th goal of the season before Cameron Kerr doubled Renfrew’s lead after the break.
United, who had already been relegated, pulled one back in the final few minutes but Jimmy Quigley’s team held on to secure all three points.

The result leaves the New Western Park outfit within touching distance of clinching their second piece of silverware of the season, having already lifted the Strathclyde Demolition Cup.
Renfrew can get the job done on Friday night when they host Glasgow University, with the home fans hoping for a repeat of the 6-0 victory at the Excelsior Stadium earlier in the campaign.
Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
