Johnstone Burgh boss Jamie McKim is hoping his team can bounce back with a win this weekend as they face Drumchapel United.

The Keanie Park players are still smarting from a 3-1 defeat against Shotts Bon Accord at Hannah Park last Wednesday night.

And McKim knows his troops will need to produce a better display on Saturday when they make the short trip to the Donald Dewar Centre.

Shotts raced into a 2-0 lead midway through the first half, thanks to Kamil Krol’s deflected free-kick and a penalty from Ally Martin.

Jojo Gillespie missed a penalty for Burgh before the interval but didn't waste another chance from the spot just minutes into the second half.

Burgh's hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 53rd minute, however, as Paul McGeough made it 3-1 for Shotts.

McKim said: “It was a really disappointing result and a disappointing performance. I think the boys gave us everything and we did work hard but we just didn’t produce it on the pitch.”

Kick-off on Saturday is at 2pm.
