Johnstone Burgh assistant manager David Hill praised young goalkeeper Lee Kilbride for the last-minute heroics that earned his team all three points against Kilbirnie Ladeside on Saturday.
Cammy Crooks put Burgh ahead at Ladeside Park with a terrific strike from distance before Ross McKenzie equalised for the hosts just before half-time.
Jojo Gillespie then struck the winner for the Keanie Park outfit early in the second half when he advanced from the halfway line before jinking past a challenge and curling a fine effort into the far corner of the net.
However, Burgh had Kilbride to thank for a terrific save in the final minute as he got a hand to a deflected effort to push the ball onto the crossbar before Jason Andrew made a huge block to prevent Kilbirnie scoring with the rebound.

Saturday’s win meant further joy for Burgh after an impressive victory over Drumchapel United the previous week, leaving Hill delighted.
He told Gazette Sport: “The boys were excellent. It was a great victory and thoroughly deserved. Coming on the back of the Drumchapel game, it’s two great results in a row.
“We didn’t do ourselves justice at all earlier on in the season when we got beat 4-1 by Kilbirnie but Saturday showed how far we have come.
“At the final whistle, it’s unusual for everyone to run to the goalkeeper but that’s exactly what happened. It was a great save from Lee at the end and I’m delighted for him.
“Lee is our 20s goalkeeper and is just deputising for Glen [Cameron] but he’s been turning up week after week to be the number two goalkeeper and now he has taken his chance."

Hill is hoping the last two results will give the Burgh players some extra confidence for the rest of the season.
He added: “When they believe in themselves and they do what they can do, then they are a force.”
Burgh are back in action on Wednesday night as they travel to Hannah Park to take on Shotts Bon Accord, with Hill expecting a tough test.
He said: “Even just the logistics of getting there on a Wednesday night are difficult and then, when you do get there, they are a really good team.
“If the Burgh from the last two weeks turns up, then we’ve got a good chance of getting something from the game.”
