It was party time for Renfrew Football Club at the weekend after they won the Strathclyde Demolition Cup.
More than 1,000 spectators were at New Tinto Park to see Renfrew secure the silverware in dramatic fashion after a penalty shootout with Whitletts Victoria.
A goal by Dom Innes gave Renfrew the lead in Friday night's match, only for Kris Brown to equalise for the Ayrshire outfit.
That meant the final would be decided on spot-kicks, with goalkeeper Danny McLeay proving to be the hero for Renfrew as he saved David Blyth's effort.
Ciaran Diver, Scott Morton, Cameron Kerr, Dominic Lavelle and Craig Dallas also played their part, as each of them scored from the spot.
Renfrew manager Jimmy Quigley said: “I was confident that Danny would save one when it went to penalties because he’s done it for me before.
“The boys gave us everything and hopefully it bodes well for the rest of the season.”
