RENFREW co-manager Colin Clark has backed the SJFA’s decision to bring the current season to an end – but has acknowledged not every club is going to be happy.
A statement was sent to clubs on Friday afternoon confirming the current campaign was to be cancelled, although details on promotion and relegation have not yet been confirmed.
Clark said: “I don’t think they had any choice. There’s no point hanging on.
“It looks like this isn’t going away anytime soon. We now have to see how they will finish it.
“There’s no fair way of finishing this where every club is going to be happy. There’s always going to be disgruntled club. You can’t hand titles out or relegate clubs until it’s mathematically confirmed.”
