COLIN Clark has urged his Renfrew players to secure their Premiership survival as they return to league action this weekend.
The Frew boss watched his team come from behind to beat Vale of Leven in a friendly on Saturday.
A Rikki McIntosh brace and an effort from Andrew MacLennan reversed the visitors’ early opener at New Western Park.

Clark’s men haven’t played in the league since beating Kilwinning Rangers 3-1 at the start of March and the Frew boss is keen to make up for lost time in their five remaining games.
While they still have some way to go to mathematically secure their place in the Premiership next season, a win over relegation rivals Kirkintilloch Rob Roy this weekend would put them in pole position.
The Renfrew co-manager told Gazette Sport: “We never gave up hope that we could stay in this league, even when we were struggling.
“It’s a real credit to the boys that they are still in with a chance.
“We are trying to keep Kirkintilloch in the relegation battle and a win for us will do that. If they beat us, they will think they are out of it.
“We have given ourselves a chance and that is all we can do.
“If you had looked at the table back in December, you might not have been convinced we had much of a chance.”

Clark added: “We need to look at these upcoming games with a bit of optimism.
“We never gave up hope that we could stay in this league but we know there is still a lot of hard work to be done if we are going to achieve that.
“We will hopefully keep the performance levels high and see where it takes us.”
Renfrew welcome 13th-placed Kirkintilloch Rob Roy to New Western Park on Saturday, with kick-off at 2pm.
