RENFREW Ladies fell to an 11-0 defeat against a top Glasgow City side as they crashed out of the SSE Scottish Cup at the quarter-final stage.
With a number of the Glasgow ladies helping the Scottish national team to the World Cup recently, the Frew can be proud of their efforts and for making it this far in a tough competition.
The home side were resolute in the opening 25 minutes at New Western Park but it was always going be a tough task for the Division 1 side, who sit two levels below City in the Scottish Women’s League set up, and it got even tougher when Hayley Lauder fired City ahead.
