Primary three children raised £565 for charity by hosting a successful coffee morning and assembly.
Crowds of parents turn out to support the event at Dargavel Primary, which featured singing by the pupils in P3c and P3d.
“Cuppa for a Cause” coined in the cash for Children in Need.
Jennifer Skea, P3 teacher, said: “The pupils wanted to raised money for Children in Need.
“We organised face painting, bracelets and a guess the birthday competition.
“It was an amazing turnout from P3 and P4 parents.”
Cuppa for a Cause was followed by a whole school pyjama day the following week.
In total the school raised more than £1,200 for Children in Need this year.
A spokesperson for Dargavel Primary added: “Thank you so much to P3c, P3d, Miss (Amy) Guthrie and Miss (Jennifer) Skea for organising all the different activities and for putting on an excellent Children in Need assembly.
“Well done everyone."
