A THEME park has donated £500 to a Renfrewshire charity that helps older people.
M&D's Scotland's Theme Park has donated cash to Roar to support its community initiatives.
Roar, based in Johnstone, is a charity that runs clubs for people aged 65 and over, helping them live independently and encouraging well-being.
The charity was set up 14 years ago to help older adults overcome social isolation, loneliness, mobility issues, and prevent falls.
Jensen Connelly Taylor, director of M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, said: "Roar plays such a vital role within the Renfrewshire community and its network of clubs provide a real lifeline for many older people.
"We’re delighted to lend our support."
Cassie Forbes, chief executive officer of Roar, said: "We are absolutely delighted to receive this very kind donation, it will help us provide additional services to the older community of Renfrewshire.
"A massive thank you to M&D’s Scotland Theme Parks."
