An environmental and wellbeing charity will be hosting Renfrewshire's new climate action hub.
The Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub (RenCAN Hub), part of the Scottish Government's regional climate hub programme, will be hosted by the Local Energy Action Plan (LEAP).
LEAP has been delivering community climate action projects across Renfrewshire since 2013.
The regional climate hub programme aims to bring communities together to engage in climate action, supporting the transition to low-carbon and climate-resilient living.
Mike Callaghan, LEAP charity manager, said: "We’re really pleased that Renfrewshire is now represented in the Climate Hub Network.
"There is already a lot of great community-led action taking place which the Hub will support and enhance.
"The Hub will create tangible outcomes for people and communities that enhance wellbeing by connecting people and places.
"We will develop projects by sharing knowledge, skills and funding."
The hub, which has a presence in Lochwinnoch and at Paisley Library and the Tannahill Centre in Ferguslie Park, has already initiated several local projects.
These include the planting of over 300 aspen trees and 80 other trees to help prevent flooding and restore ecological habitats.
The hub is also working on textile upcycling projects with young people, and promoting local regenerative food production.
