THE AVENUE SHOPPING CENTRE
Get ready for a magical day of festive cheer, as Merry Mearns returns to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns, on Sunday November 24, from 12 pm until 5pm.
Packed with family-friendly activities, this event is the perfect way to officially kick off the festive season with your loved ones. Merry Mearns promises a day filled with entertainment for everyone. Crofty from Go Radio will host live entertainment on-stage, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere lively.
And of course, no Christmas event would be complete without a visit from Santa, so don’t miss your chance to say hello to the man in red.
The event will also feature a festive market, organised in conjunction with Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland, where you can shop for unique gifts while supporting a crucially important cause. Kids (and adults) can get into the Christmas spirit with festive crafts, while balloon modelling and face painting will add extra excitement to the day.
There’s also a bit of showbiz sparkle in attendance at Merry Mearns, in the shape of Glasgow’s newest boyband Just the Brave. Considered to be one of Scotland’s hottest musical talents, they are a must-see part of the day.
There will also be live performances from popular local singer Beverley Lyons, Electric Candy cheerleaders and many more acts throughout the day.
And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s also funfair rides for little ones, as well as the chance to win special prizes and giveaways. There’s even set to be a special visit from The Avenue’s popular mascots duo, Newton & Fearn.
To make sure you don’t miss out on the fun, mark your calendars and join in the festivities at The Avenue on November 24. The team look forward to welcoming you!
