A bookshop in Renfrewshire is set to host television presenter Sean Batty during Book Week Scotland.
As part of a series of events for the week, The Ginger Cat Bookshop will be taking the weatherman to visit Bridge of Weir Primary School and Kilmacolm Primary School on November 22 to read his new book, "The Worst Christmas Weather EVER!"
He will read to P2 classes at Bridge of Weir and P1 and P2 classes at Kilmacolm.
The pupils will also have the chance to ask him questions and participate in activities related to the book.
He will also be signing personalised copies of his book.
Before hosting him, the bookshop will have a pop-up shop at Gryffe High School on Wednesday, November 20.
This will allow students to buy books and see what the bookshop has to offer.
On the evening of November 22, the bookshop organised an event at Bernie's Cafe Deli in Bridge of Weir with best-selling author Jenny Colgan.
She will talk about her books, "Close Knit" and "Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop," with BBC Radio Scotland's Laura Maxwell.

This event will be an evening with international best-selling author CJ Cooke, who will discuss her new book, "The Book of Witching," with Paisley Heritage's Rachael Smith.
This will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing.
