An MSP has praised Paisley's only brewery for their impressive growth and community involvement.
Neil Bibby, MSP for West Scotland, recently visited Two Towns Down and met with founder Sandy McKelvie and his mother-turned-business-partner, Liz.
The 47 Back Sneddon Street brewery, founded in 2019, is known for its dedication to the town, with the iconic Paisley Pattern adorning all its beer cans.
Mr Bibby commended their engagement with local bars and restaurants, as well as their participation in town events, such as the Halloween Festival.
He said: "I was delighted to meet Sandy and Liz at Two Towns Down to discuss their fantastic work as one of our area’s up-and-coming local businesses.
"As their branding shows, they are a real champion of Paisley, and I look forward to seeing them continue to grow into the future."
The brewery, with its unique musical approach of naming beers after songs by popular artists, has become a local favourite.
Their beers include These Streets pale ale and Stuck in the Middle with Eldorado, referencing songs by Paisley acts Paolo Nutini and Stealers Wheel.
Mr Bibby also appreciated the Chancellor's decision to cut beer duty in the year's Budget, which he said would benefit businesses like Two Towns Down across Scotland.
Apart from the brewery, the site includes a tap room serving draught beer, open every Friday from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday from 2pm to 10pm.
