Bridge of Weir and Renfrew residents are being encouraged to join their community council.
Community councils are key to local activities, representing residents’ views to service providers such as the council, NHS, and Police Scotland.
Iain Nicolson, leader of Renfrewshire Council, said: "Community councils are incredibly important as they give local people the chance to present the views of their community to the council, NHS and Police Scotland.
“We are always looking to use local knowledge to improve our neighbourhoods so if you feel you can make a positive difference to where you live then please put forward your nomination before the closing date.”
The closing date for nominations is November 22 and nomination forms can be requested by emailing community-council.cs@renfrewshire.gov.uk.
They must be completed, signed in ink, and include a proposer and seconder who are residents on the Voters’ Roll.
Incomplete, unsigned forms, or those without a valid proposer and seconder, or submitted after the deadline, will not be accepted.
