Emergency services are dealing with an incident between two train stations this evening.
An incident has occurred between Paisley Gilmour Street and Johnstone.
Trains are running at a reduced speed through the area as a result and ScotRail is warning that services may be delayed, altered or cancelled.
This is impacting the Glasgow Central to Largs service, the Glasgow Central to Ayr line and the Glasgow Central to Ardrossan Harbour route.
A spokesperson for ScotRail said: "Emergency services were dealing with an incident between Paisley Gilmour Street and Johnstone, trains are having to run at a reduced speed through the area. Services may be subject to delays, alterations and cancellations."

The nature of the incident is not known, but we have contacted British Transport Police for further information.
