Officers have been carrying out road safety speed checks in Paisley.
Police said they have been doing so on Hawkhead Road after reports of anti-social driving and excessive speed in the area.
The checks were carried out by members of the Renfrewshire Local Problem Solving Team.
It comes just days after we reported that a devoted dad who died after being hit by a car on the stretch was named by police.
The incident happened on Hawkhead Road at around 8.10am on Wednesday, September 18.
Two men - aged 50 and 40 - were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries after being struck by the vehicle.
However, sadly the 50-year-old man died in hospital on Sunday, September 22.
He was named on Tuesday, October 9 as Stephen Craig from Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire.
