A new establishment offering "fresh bakes and cakes" has opened its doors.

Crust & Crumble in Bridge of Weir welcomed its first customers at 8am this morning (Friday, September 20).

Those tempted to try it out can expect a delicious array of sweet treats and savouries from the venture's partner Aulds the Bakers.

A selection of hot and cold food to go for breakfast and lunch, coffee, soft drinks, soup and snacks is also available.

A post on social media last night by those behind the Prieston Road venture said they are "thrilled" to open.

"Come join us for our soft opening and be among the first to experience what we have to offer," they added. 

"We can’t wait to welcome you and share our passion with the community."
