A busy Renfrew road has been 'closed' amid an ongoing emergency incident.
Porterfield Road in the town has currently been shut due to an incident.
In images shared with The Gazette, two police vans can be seen parked outside a shop on the street.
On top of that, two ambulances are also seen to be at the scene.
Meanwhile, residents on social media said motors 'aren't allowed to go down' the road currently.
One said: "Road closed off at Porterfield Road. Police and ambulance are in attendance.
"Best to avoid where possible."
It is unclear what the incident is, however, we have contacted Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
