A man has been arrested after police found suspicious items in Paisley and shut down a street.
A 41-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident which kicked off at around 8.15am this morning.
We previously reported how police and fire crews were called to George Street following a report of a car on fire.

The flames were extinguished, however a number of suspicious items were allegedly found in the common close of a building nearby.
Specialist resources from Police Scotland have assessed these and found no threat to the public.
Roads have reopened and residents have been allowed to return to their homes.
There have been no reported injuries.
Police Scotland said: “Around 8.15am on Monday, 2 September, emergency services were called to George Street in Paisley following a report of a car on fire.
“The fire was extinguished, however a number of suspicious items were found in the common close of a building nearby. Specialist resources from Police Scotland have assessed these and found no threat to the public.
“Roads have reopened in the surrounding area and residents have been allowed to return to their homes. There have been no reported injuries.
“A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. We would like to thank the public for their patience as enquiries continue.”
