Detectives are keen to speak to a man after a shocking night-time incident in Renfrewshire.
Police say a car was deliberately torched in the Millikenpark Road area of Kilbarchan at around 5am on Wednesday, August 28.
999 crews raced to the scene.
After that, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze.
Luckily, no one was injured during the fire.
Now, cops have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Meanwhile, detectives are also keen to track down a man seen in the area around the time of the fire.
He is described as being in his 50s and was wearing a dark jacket, trousers, a beanie hat, and Adidas trainers.
Detective Constable Fraser Williams said: “I’m appealing to anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
“If you recognise the description of this man or think you may have seen him in the area around the time, please get in touch with police.
“I’d also ask anyone with private CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams to please review your footage and bring anything you think may be of significance to our attention.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference 0443 of August 28.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
