Renfrewshire Council have approved plans to change a restaurant into a hot food takeaway.
A planning application was submitted back in June and granted this month for the unit at 13A Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Erskine.
According to signage which has gone up outside and a website which has launched, the new premises is set to open as '"I Chai Express".
A successful I Chai restaurant and takeaway already operates in Anniesland.
The unit in Erskine was previously home to The New River Village, which is believed to have closed in April.
According to planning documents, a public area and counter will be formed towards the front of the unit.
The kitchen and food preparation areas at the rear will be reconfigured and expanded into the area previously occupied by the restaurant seating.
