A Netflix series will explore a Scots celebrity chef's upcoming new restaurants.

The new docuseries will follow the Johnstone-born chef Gordon Ramsay as he takes on one of his biggest challenges so far: opening five different culinary experiences at a prestigious London venue.

Ramsay, who currently holds eight Michelin stars across his restaurants, is preparing to unveil these projects at the iconic 22 Bishopsgate.

These will include an Asian-inspired restaurant, Lucky Cat, on level 60 of the skyscraper making it London's highest restaurant.

Below on level 59, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar by Gordon Ramsay will serve its beloved dishes, cocktails and a new signature afternoon tea experience.

An exclusive 14-seat chef's table will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, while the Gordon Ramsay Academy will allow aspiring chefs to try their hand at pasta-making, mixology and more.

Teasing the new show, Netflix said: "Netflix is in production on a docuseries about multi-Michelin starred chef, Gordon Ramsay.

"The series will follow Gordon in the lead-up to his biggest restaurant venture to date: the opening of 5 culinary experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate.

"Watch, or be an idiot sandwich."

As well as running several top restaurants, Ramsay is known for appearing in his own TV shows such as Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen.
