Residents are being asked to share memories and photographs of Bishopton Community Centre from the past 50 years.
The centre at Gledstane Road is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary after opening its doors on November 30, 1974.
Bishopton Community Centre Association, a team of volunteers that manages the Renfrewshire Council-owned centre, are calling upon the local community to share their past memories and photos.
A selection will be uploaded to their website (bishoptoncommunitycentre.com) and an exhibition of photos will also be arranged - with dates still to be announced.
Lynne Hutchinson, chairperson of the Bishopton Community Centre Association, said: “Bishopton Community Centre is part of the fabric of our local community and opened its’ doors on November 30, 1974.
“Many events have taken place at the centre throughout those 50 years and we would welcome everyone to share their memories.
“We will collate their memories, either written or photographic and share a selection of them with the wider community through our website and at a static exhibition that is being arranged.
“If anyone does have any memories or photos that they would like to share they should send them to Bishoptonanniversaryphotos@gmail.com.”
People are asked to send their memories and photos by October 31.
