999 crews raced to rescue a person who had fallen down an embankment in Renfrewshire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said they were called to the incident at around 1.45pm on Wednesday, August 14.
The service said they received a report of a person that had fallen down an embankment near the National Cycle Route 75 at Elderslie.
Three fire trucks and a rope rescue team were sent to the scene.
Fire crews then safely rescued the person and they were then taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We were alerted at 1.44pm on Wednesday, August 14, to reports of a person that had fallen down an embankment near National Cycle Route 75 at Elderslie.
“Operations control immediately mobilised three appliances and a rope rescue team to the scene.
“Crews rescued the person who was taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Firefighters made sure the area was safe before leaving the scene.”
