A MAN was attacked in Paisley in the early hours of this morning.
Cops were called to Underwood Road shortly after 1am due to a 39-year-old being seriously assaulted.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
It is believed police are still in the street as of 10am this morning with a close taped off as part of their investigations.

Detective Sergeant James McAteer said: “Our enquiries are at an early stage into this incident and I would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed anything suspicious to contact us.
“I would also ask any drivers with dashcam to review their footage and get in touch if it holds anything relevant.”
