A local author recently launched his new book at a sold-out event at the Paisley Central Library.
Seamus Connolly's book 'Death Before Revenge' was released on August 6 with Councillor Lisa-Marie Hughes chairing the event.
The session was supported by Provost Cameron and included an interview with Cllr Hughes, Q&A from the audience, and readings from the novel.
Death before Revenge, set primarily in 1985's West End of Paisley, is a sequel to Connolly's 'Black is the Colour' which was published in 2020.
The narrative follows lawyer Cal Lynch seeking retribution for his father's murder.
Both books will be available to borrow in Renfrewshire libraries, at Abbey Books Paisley and to buy online on Amazon.
