Road closures will be in place in Paisley later this month during roundabout structure works.
Earlier today, we reported that works on Glenburn Road roundabout – which will allow large vehicles with abnormal loads to pass – are set to be carried.
A contractor is scheduled to begin the project at the roundabout next to St Peter’s on Glenburn Road and Braehead Road on Monday, August 19, and due to finish up on Friday, August 30.
During phase one of the works, the north side of Glenburn Road roundabout at the junction of Braehead Road will be shut.
Braehead Road will also be closed from the junction of Glenburn Road to its junction with St Peters Close.
During phase two, the south side of Glenburn Road roundabout will be closed at the junction of Braehead Road.
Braehead Road will also be closed from its junction with Glenburn Road to its junction with Bardrain Road/Wardhouse Road.
Vehicles left on the road will be moved out of the works area.
Emergency access will be maintained and access to premises will be maintained where possible.
Alternative Routes for phase one: Braehead Road, Burnfoot Crescent, Braehead Road, Donaldswood Road, Gleniffer Road, Glenburn Road and vice versa.
Alternative Routes for phase two: Braehead Road, Glenfield Road, Caplethill Road, Glenburn Road, Glenburn Road and vice versa.
