Busy road closed for more than three weeks
Drivers are facing a road closure on a busy stretch lasting more than three weeks.
Main Road in Elderslie is shut from its junction with Wallace Avenue to number 82 from today (Monday, July 22) until Thursday, August 15.
The road is being closed to allow for resurfacing works to take place.
Any vehicles left on the road in contravention of the traffic notice in place will be moved out of the works area.
Emergency access will be maintained and access to premises will be maintained where possible.
The alternative route for drivers is as follows: Main Road, Linwood Road, Kashmir Avenue, Bridge Of Weir Road, Barrochan Road, High Street, Main Road and vice versa.
