A movie that is screenplay-narrated to cater to the blind will premiere in Paisley this week.
Dark Soul, a supernatural thriller audio concept film, will screen at the Bungalow at 7pm on Thursday, July 11.
Directed by Zoë Hunter and written by Ros Borland, the film offers a unique cinematic experience as it is specifically aimed at making film and cinema accessible for those who are blind or partially sighted.
It also invites sighted viewers to wear eye masks for the duration of the film.
Tickets (£5) are available at the door or via the link: https://tinyurl.com/5n9524tc.
The movie is made in partnership with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) Scotland.
The film, set in Edinburgh, won this year’s Celtic Media Festival Torc Award for excellence (Drama Sound).
The screening will be followed by a question and answer session, offering attendees an insight into the movie's production.
