Brick-built dinosaurs are the latest attractions to arrive in Paisley town centre.

Running until August 19, the town has transformed into a free Jurassic haven for a free family day out.

Eighteen different iconic brick models, including Triceratops, a colourful Stegosaurus, and a massive Iguanodon, are placed in town for an interesting trail event.

In addition to the dinosaur hunt, families can also enter a raffle to win a baby dinosaur, Teddy the T-Rex.

Elaine Templeton, chair of Paisley First, said: “We know that our summer brick trails are a huge hit with families of all ages from across Scotland, and we know dinosaurs are even bigger, so we can’t wait to welcome visitors to Paisley this summer for this iconic free day out.

“Every year, thousands of families tell us how amazing these brick-built models are, we are so excited that this year, someone will be able to win one of our baby dinosaurs, Teddy the T-Rex.

“It’s going to be a great summer here in Paisley town centre.”

After completing the trail, participants can post their entry forms at the Iconic Dinosaurs post-boxes in either shopping centre for a chance to win a children’s summer hamper.
