Train services in Renfrewshire are being disrupted due to a 'cow on the line'.

ScotRail said they have received a report of an animal on the line between Lochwinnoch and Howwood.

Due to this, trains running through the area are running at a 'slower speed' than normal until the cow can be removed.

A spokesperson for ScotRail said: "We've received reports that there's a cow on the line between Lochwinnoch and Howwood.

Trains are running through this area at a slower speed than normal until we can safely remove the animal."
