The Police Scotland annual primary schools football tournament took place recently at On-X Linwood, with pupils from East Fulton, Woodlands, Our Lady Of Peace, Thorn, St Fillans, Houston, Wallace and Langcraigs primaries all participating.

The tournament was organised by PC Muir and PC Humphreys, both part of the local community policing team, and saw Houston Primary triumph over Our Lady of Peace in a hard-fought final that went all the way to penalties.

The event was supported and assisted by Tesco Superstore Linwood, Linstone Housing, Linwood Community Council, Houston Community Council, On-X Linwood, St. Mirren Charitable Foundation and Klas Care.
