Parks Mains High School have announced a production of the jukebox musical Back To The 80s as their summer show for 2024.
The show will be sure to dazzle and entertain, with plenty of classic 1980s hits from the likes of Cydni Lauper, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Leith legends The Proclaimers, besides many others.
Over 40 pupils and 30 volunteer staff will be taking part in the display undertaking a variety of roles, not just acting, singing and dancing but also helping with costumes, props and stage design. Live music will be provided by the highly dependable staff band One Correction.
The production will be performed over three nights on June 18, 19 and 20, with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Although guests will initially be seated, those in attendance are encouraged to “get your dancing shoes on and whip out your groovy moves,” with cringe-inducing parent dancing warmly welcomed!
The show will last approximately two hours and 30 mins with a short interval. Tickets - £4 for under 18s, and £7 for adults - are available at: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/erskine/park-mains-high-school/back-to-the-80s-school-show/e-lbxojb
