A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for Greater Glasgow today.
The Met Office has implemented the warning for the Glasgow and wider Strathclyde area until 6pm tonight - Thursday, May 23.
Some transport delays and disruptions can be expected, as well as temporary loss of power in some areas.
Meanwhile, there is also a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
The Met Office states: "Rather cloudy with patchy rain for the morning.
"Remaining cloudy into the afternoon with some heavier outbreaks of rain developing, especially in the south. Windy along the coast."
In regards to the weather this evening, they say: "Cloudy with some heavy outbreaks of rain in the south, gradually easing through the night.
"Drier for northern Argyll. Strong winds on the coast gradually ease."
