Police have launched an investigation after a man was taken to hospital following a disturbance. 

Emergency services rushed to the scene after being alerted to an incident on Thursday evening at Dunn Square in Paisley.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024, we received a report of a disturbance on Dunn Square in Paisley.

“Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandia Hospital in Paisley for treatment.

“Enquires to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.”
