Cops tracked down the drunk driver of a van following a "hit and run".
Glasgow Road Police spotted the vehicle, which failed to stop following an alleged collision.
After the incident, officers pursued and the driver was arrested and charged in connection with multiple road traffic and drug offences.
He allegedly assaulted an officer and tried to get away on foot.
The 33-year-old is being held in custody for a court hearing.

The force said on social media: "Glasgow Road Police responded to a hit and run road traffic collision in Renfrew last night.
"The van responsible was sighted a short time later and failed to stop, it was pursued, before the driver was arrested after assaulting one of our officers in a foot chase."
