NEARLY 40 new homes will be built in Paisley.
The new development, known as Hawkhead Mews, is located on the grounds of the former Hawkhead Hospital.
The 37 new homes by Cruden Homes for private sale will feature three-bedroom semi-detached homes and three-bedroom terraced townhouses.
Hazel Davies, sales and marketing director of Cruden Homes, said: “Hawkhead is a fantastic location and ticks all the boxes for modern family living.
"These spacious and flexible new homes are set in a thriving and established community with a wealth of amenities and easy access to Paisley, Glasgow and the central belt.
"This is an exciting new addition to our portfolio of new homes across the West of Scotland, having recently launched Cleddans Grove in Drumchapel.”

Hawkhead Mews is located near Barshaw Park.
The area houses cafes, shops, and schools, and gives easy access to a town centre with historic landmarks.
Ralston and Barshaw Golf Clubs are also on the doorstep.
With Hawkhead train station just a few minutes walk away, residents can reach Glasgow city centre within 16 minutes.
The sales launch is planned for May and the first homes are expected to complete by autumn this year.
