A UK-wide pizza chain has opened its very first Renfrewshire store.
Fireaway Pizza, on Causeyside Street in Paisley, threw open its doors on Tuesday, April 9 in a fantastic launch.
Having started in 2016 and opened by Mario Aleppo, Fireaway Pizza aimed to bring a "better" quality of food to the UK.
They revealed the opening with a social media post that said: "#Paisley we're open".
Currently, the fast food restaurant has over 160 other stores in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
The company, which was founded in 2016, promise their customers that they bring "authentic" and "fast" food that is made from handmade dough.
A message on their website says: "The first FIREAWAY PIZZA was opened by Mario Aleppo with the aim of bringing better pizza to the UK.
"With fresh toppings, hand-made dough and a 400-degree fire oven not only is it authentic but it’s fast – around 180 seconds!
"When my Nonna came over from the Amalfi Coast of Italy in the 1950s she brought a pizza recipe that FIREAWAY PIZZA has been spreading through the streets of London since 2016.
"We have tweaked our menu to include Oreo milkshakes, Nutella pizzas and Vegan options so we have something for everyone.
"Six years later and we have gone from one London shop to over 150+ branches across the country including Scotland & Wales."
