Police have provided an update after an emergency incident near a busy train station in Paisley.
The incident took place near Paisley Gilmour Street shortly after 10pm on Monday, April 1.
We previously reported ScotRail said services were disrupted amid the situation.

Now, the British Transport Police have said they were called to reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
999 crews rushed to the scene and officers say a person was taken to safety.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Paisley Gilmour Street at around 10.22pm yesterday (Monday, April 1) following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a person was taken to a place of safety.”
