An alleged drunk driver has been arrested after reportedly being caught with a 'knife' during a police stop.
Officers stopped a vehicle on Canal Street in Paisley just after 11.30pm on Tuesday, March 26.
The force received reports of a man who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

A 28-year-old was questioned and officers say he reportedly failed a roadside breath test, which resulted in his arrest.
A search further revealed the driver to allegedly be in possession of a knife as well as not having a valid insurance policy.
He was charged and is set to appear in court at a later date.
A police spokesperson said: "About 11.40pm on Tuesday, March 26, police were contacted in relation to a male believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
"Police attended and stopped the vehicle in Canal Street, Paisley.
"The male driver, age 28, failed the roadside breath test and was arrested. He was also found to be in possession of a knife and did not have a valid insurance policy.
"He was charged and will appear at court at a later date."
