A man who was involved in a two-vehicle smash has been arrested after allegedly being under the influence of drugs.
Cops were made aware of a collision at Crosslee Road in Bridge of Weir just after 8pm on Wednesday, March 13 and were asked to attend.
No one was injured as a result of the crash.
Officers launched an investigation and traced the drivers of both vehicles involved.
One of the drivers, a 43-year-old man, was suspected to have been allegedly under the influence of drugs when behind the wheel of his car.
He was arrested and charged.
The man is set to appear in court at a later date.
