A much-loved Chinese restaurant in Paisley has reopened its doors.
Kwang Tung in George Street has been operating as a takeaway and delivery service only since shutting its restaurant section in July 2023.
At the time, its owners said it was an announcement they had been “dreading” to make, but that they had to put their health and well-being first along with looking after and maintaining staffing.
On Mother’s Day, however, Kwang Tung's restaurant section returned with a bang as it held a grand re-opening.
A post on their Facebook page said: “Thank you all who visited on Sunday and I look forward to seeing you all again.”
The new restaurant section is half the size of their original restaurant and has 24 seats.
It will be open during the evening from Tuesday to Sunday every week.
Its return was greeted with excitement on social media by fans of the establishment.
One said: “Coming in on Saturday. Booked for my son’s 12th birthday.
“He loves his food out of Kwang Tung. Can’t wait.”
Another added: “Looking great. Can’t wait to come in April for my son’s 40th birthday.”
