A Renfrewshire MP has hit out at the Secretary of State for Scotland by asking him if he is "proud of his legacy?"
The remarks came at Parliament earlier today by Gavin Newlands as the UK Government announced the upcoming budget.
The Paisley and Renfrewshire North MP, who represents SNP, slammed the Conservative Party as he claimed public services are being "brutally" hit.

Alistair Jack, Secretary of State for Scotland of the United Kingdom, was appointed to the position by Boris Johnson in 2019.
During a speech in the House of Commons, Newlands stated that the Scottish Government's funding has been "cut" in real terms "again".
At the end of the statement, the Renfrewshire politician asked if Jack was "proud" of the work he has done whilst in position.

He said: "At a time when many Scots are struggling to pay their energy or shopping bills due to the rapid inflation, his Government has presided over.
"And with inflation in the public sector running even higher, his Government has cut the Scottish Government funding in real terms again.
"The Commons Library research shows the Scottish block grant will be at its lowest level of UK Government spending since the start of devolution.
"So, as the Secretary of State counts down the weeks until his departure, is he proud of his legacy?"
Alistair Jack responded instantly to Newlands' question as he said: "That is a very easy one to answer, Mr Speaker.
"I'm very proud of my legacy."
