A Paisley housing specialist and auctioneer has been shortlisted for a prestigious housing award.
John Loudon of Auction House Scotland is a finalist in the Special Recognition Award at the 13th Scottish Empty Homes Awards.
An experienced empty homes professional, John has helped many owners through the process of selling their empty homes to get them back into use and over the last eight years has helped return more than 65 empty properties back into use through sale by auction.
John is also passionate about helping young people and is known for his patience and determination in the course of his job.
Lisa Borthwick, the national manager for the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership, said: "John is a talented, committed, and inspirational housing professional who has made a significant contribution to empty homes work in Scotland.
"Our annual awards, the highlight of our conference, are our chance to recognise the great successes that have happened in empty homes in Scotland and John is a brilliant example of someone contributing to this work.
“I look forward to welcoming all of our great finalists to Glasgow for our awards and conference and to celebrating their achievements.”
