One person has been taken to hospital after a flat fire in Renfrew.
Fire services were called to Paisley Road on Thursday afternoon just before 4.45pm after reports of a blaze within a flat.
Three fire engines attended the scene where firefighters battled to extinguish the fire.
It is not known the cause at this stage.
A spokesman for The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said: “SFRS was alerted at 4.42pm on Thursday, February 22, to reports of a fire within a block of flats in Paisley Road.
“Operations control immediately mobilised three appliances to the scene, where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“One casualty was passed into the care of ambulance personnel.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 16:56 on 22 February to attend an incident on Paisley Road.
"Two ambulances and two special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.”
