Gary currently travels the world judging competitions and producing cooking tutorials for aspiring chefs.
And he says that his new book, Scottish Celebrations, is a collection of traditional Scottish recipes that he used in the past as well as how to cook them.
He said: "It is very exciting to do another event.
"I have done a number of them in different bookshops and it is nice to get into The Ginger Cat. They seem to have a really good set-up.
"I have been told there are a lot of people coming which is nice to hear and it is a perfect Scottish night to be in catching up on celebratory foods."
During the event, Gary will talk about the inspiration behind some of his favourite traditional dishes featured in the book and provide tips and tricks to elevate your own cooking skills.
Starting his cooking career when he was a teenager, the chef from Knightswood was appointed as the head chef of the 55BC restaurant in Glasgow at the age of 22 after developing a love for cooking at Knightswood Secondary School.
Gary then applied to be on MasterChef which saw him beat 47 other professional cooks to become the champion.
In 2017, he was named Scotland's first National Chef.
Aileen Jeffrey, owner of The Ginger Cat Bookshop in Bridge of Weir, said: 'I'm absolutely delighted to have Scotland's National Chef, Gary Maclean visit Bridge of Weir for an author talk and signing with The Ginger Cat Bookshop.
"I can't wait to listen to Gary talk about his new recipe book, Scottish Celebrations and hear about all of his amazing achievements!"
