A yellow weather warning has been issued for the full of Renfrewshire.
The Met Office issued the warning for the area this morning as well as other parts of Scotland.
It is currently in place just now and was expected to last until 12pm today, February 7, however, it has been extended to Friday at 3pm.
Many locals can expect "some travel disruption" on Thursday night and throughout Friday.
People are warned to watch their step with surfaces expected to be icy.
Delays on roads, buses and trains are likely according to the Met Office.
They said: "A few wintry showers pushing south at first, clearing through the morning.
"Following this, we will see some good sunny spells returning with showers more confined to Argyll.
"A colder day. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
"Snow showers and ice bringing some difficult driving conditions and localised transport disruption."
