The Glasgow Central to Paisley Canal line is one of several routes in Scotland still closed following bad weather.
An update from ScotRail reports that a number of routes remain shut due to flooding, line obstructions or pending line safety checks.
The routes still shut include:
- Highland mainline between Perth and Inverness
- Wick/Thurso - Inverness
- Kyle of Lochalsh - Inverness
- Edunburgh - Glasgow Central via Carstairs
- Glasgow Central - Paisley Canal
- Carlisle - Glasgow Central (line closed between Dumfries and Kilmarnock)
All other lines have reopened by services remain subject to revision.
